Ho'ponopono: an ancient tradition to heal past hurts and reconnect.


One of the secrets of happiness is to move on from hurt and past emotional burden. Many of my clients arrive in therapy after keeping hurt and negative emotions stuck within. Sometimes it takes more than one session to free them from the toxic environment that their mind has to deal with. Other times, after the session it is useful to reconnect to those who are not treating us right, and communicate our boundaries, but also resolve to move on. This is of course, not an option when we have been abused, assaulted etc, and reconnection is not appropriate. Nevertheless when we need to feel better we still must approach past hurts with a different mindset which will allow us to build a new and better future.
